Emergencies We Respond To
We respond to all types of emergencies. Wether it be for a duck in a storm drain or a cat in a tree (we even rescued a drone from a tree once) to a house on fire, we are here to answer the call.

Structure Fires
This was a training burn we did to practice interior firefighting. Once a structure becomes unsafe during training, we pull everyone out so they're not exposed to un-needed risk, then facilitate burning the structure completely to assist the landowner in lessening removal costs.

Water Rescue
We have a dedicated group of individuals who went through swift water rescue training. With the increase in flooding recently we felt this was a desperate need in our area. Our team is now fully equipped to handle water emergencies.

Victim Extrication
We never know what kind of situation we are going to find a victim in. Sky Zone was kind enough to allow us a night of training in their foam pit. This presented unstable terrain for us, allowing us to experiment with alternate techniques that can't normally practice.
Duck Rescue
This cute little guy was rescued from a storm drain, along with 8 of his siblings. Their mother was running around in the road frantically, causing a traffic hazard. We were able to reunite them all in a close by field safely.

The volunteers at Cecil Township Fire Department are professional, dedicated, and always ready to help our community.
I appreciate the hard work and commitment of the Cecil Township volunteers in keeping us safe.
